Camp Dates and Needs
Hey Everyone,
I hope this email finds you well and ready for summer as much as we are! Quick update on what's going on....
CAMP CAMP CAMP- We have 4 camps this summer
June 24th-30th- Lost Canyon with our Dana Hills Club- 15 people
July 1st-5th- Woodleaf with the High Rollers- 33 people
July 5th-10th- Oakbridge with Wyldlife (Jr High)- 8 people
Aug 23rd-26th- Oakbridge with Capernaum Beyond- 24 people
We have almost 100 people going to camp this summer from our area. Please be praying for our friends who are going and please pray especially for the leaders going with them. Pray for strength, energy, patience, and most of all love to be flowing from our leaders.
We have kids from all kids of backgrounds and stories going. Below is just a picture of some of the kids going......
- One girl we are taking just got out of Juvenal hall. Has no relationship with Jesus has never been to church came to club a couple times at the end of the year. Religion freaks her out but she likes the leaders and is excited to get to go to camp.
- Another girl just this week got out of the hospital for attempted suicide.
- We have a hand full of kids in treatment for drug addiction
- We have a handful of kids currently drug addicted
- Most of our kids little to no parent support or involvement.
- Another student has been evicted from multiple apartments this year with her family. Has little to no support at home and is constantly put down.
- We have several special need students who have NEVER gone to anything like this before. Leaving home for the 1st time!
We are able to bring these kids because we have donors like you! We are able to share Jesus with these friends because you have partnered with us in this ministry.

Getting Ready for Camp
OC Capernaum's High Rollers are going to Woodleaf July 1st-5th!!!!

Birthday Club
This past Wednesday High Rollers had Birthday Club. Two of our leaders made 70 cupcakes to help celebrate everyone's birthdays. What a special surprise!
Blue Gnu
Just a couple weeks ago we played a game we call "Blu Gnu." How this works is we all show up to the mall. From there everyone is divided up into teams and are given the search sheet. On that sheet are who they are looking for. For example this year they had to find a squirrel, a pig, a cow, a surfer, a lifeguard, a mummy, and several others. Lastly they also have to find the Blu Gnu. The Blu Gnu is someone who they have never met. They are wearing something blue that represents the Blu Gnu but they dont know what they blue item is so they have to ask anyone wearing blue if they are the Blu Gnu. For our friends in Capernaum we had the Blu Gnu wear out blue graduation shirt from last year. The game was a huge success and with over 100 people playing, we basically took over the mall. We had some friends from Mountain View Church help us out with being our characters in the mall.
We ended the night by having some ice cream cones from Ruby's. Thanks Ruby's!!!
